Accessory Items

Accessory Items as Typically Used in an Independent Living Unit

Often an Independent Living Unit will have more than just the one remote pendant that comes complete with the Blue Phone or Smart Dialler.

Extra remote wrist or neck pendants or fixed call points in the ensuite or berooms are sometimes also installed. Strobe lights for attracting the attention of an ambulance, wireless monitored smoke detectors, mains powered or battery powered are common place too. Wireless PIRs for monitoring inactivity and unit security are also available. The Multicode transmitter allows for the installation of low cost hardwired call points being wired back to this centrally located nine channel battery backed transmitter. Multicode transmitters are often used in village community centres when multiple call points are spread throughout the building and hardwiring is preferred.

With up to 48 RF inputs the Blue Phone and Smart Dialler can monitor just about anything, identifying to the care staff the specific nature of an alarm event every time.
